If your goal is to overcome the negative effects of trauma on your life and relationships, I may be the therapist for you. One of my greatest joys as a therapist is working with members of diverse communities to be the best version of themselves. I believe that we can best heal and grow through emotional intelligence, self-mastery, and understanding of how our cultural background and life circumstances have impacted our life outlook. I have helped many people over the years establish a stronger sense of self-esteem and life direction. My counseling approach is strengths-based and person-centered. I believe in treating everyone with unconditional positive regard and I strongly oppose stigmatizing labels. I employ the use of practical problem-solving modalities, and will tailor our sessions and treatment plan to meet your personalized needs.
